Voluntary Positions in the Cloud Forest >>4 / 4

Community project
The project is located in the community of Las Tolas. There are about 40 families. They have their own houses or farms and they work their own land. Some of the families make handicrafts and they have started doing their own eco-tourism project. In this volunteer project you will stay with one of the several different families of the community. The volunteer will experience the real culture, learning about and being involved in the traditional customs of the community's families. The volunteer will work with the family at home in: agriculture, milking and taking care of the cows, cooking, helping to do homework and teaching English to the children of the family, teaching preparation of nutritious food, cleaning the house, learning and making handcrafts. If you have ideas or suggestions for better work, they are welcome.
